It's nice that you have a mosquito net. We didn't have one while the cottage was our home - sweet - home. When we first moved in, I found a petrified lizard between the window plastic and the wall, just above the masking tape and the head of the bed. I knew that if I removed the tape to get out the lizard, it would bring a whole lot of other little dead critters with it, so I resisted the urge. Are the windows still covered with plastic? I wanted so badly to be able to see out the windows, but we needed to control the temperature and keep out some of the mosquitoes, so we left it. You don't need to worry though. It finally slipped through a small opening where the tape had no stickiness left, so I put it outside where it belonged in the first place.
